I think I enjoyed the park as much as my granson did! Wish I coulda got a photo of the Eagle.

It's tough to get a decent photo between the narrow slats of the buildings that house these birds.

Making a small Garden n Memory of..........

I've put off posting about this partly because I don't like to bring sadness to the hearts of others, & because I can't see to type through my tears. Here goes: On April 1st, my sweet, loving, best friend in the whole world, Pookie, my little dog, passed away. Even though I was her Mommy, I think she mostly took care of me. She comforted me when sick, made me smile through sadness, and liked me even when I had what I call scarecrow hair, etc.! She was so loved, and is tremendously missed by the whole family. (ok, can't see now) ~Anyway, I'm working on this little Memorial Garden for her, where we will place a box with some of her precious belongings & a photo of her. I will post a photo of her one day when I am able to look at one without falling apart.
